Rocky Giant’s Family Pleads for His Rehabilitation and Recovery

In recent months, Ugandan rapper Rocky Giant has continued to draw concern from fans and the general public over his deteriorating health and unstable behavior. Once known for his strong physique and vibrant stage presence, the musician has appeared frail and mentally unwell in several recent media appearances — signs that point to the devastating effects of drug abuse.

During a recent interview, Rocky Giant’s family expressed deep concern for his condition and revealed that they are doing everything possible to see him taken into a proper rehabilitation program. According to his brother Robert Aluma, the family believes that rehabilitation is the only way for the artist to regain his mental and physical health.

Aluma noted that while the family has faced challenges in finding the right support system, they remain hopeful that help will come soon — whether from well-wishers, organizations, or government institutions. Their greatest wish is to see Rocky Giant fully rehabilitated and able to rebuild his life.

The family also urged the public to show understanding and compassion toward the artist rather than criticism. “What Rocky needs right now is love, care, and a chance to heal,” they said.

As one of Uganda’s early hip-hop pioneers, Rocky Giant’s influence on the local music scene remains significant. His family’s plea serves as a reminder of the importance of community and support in helping those battling addiction find their way back to stability and hope.
